The forests of Tavush hide these two cultural pearls in their depths, and when you come there, especially to the Dekhdznut, you wonder: how did they build such a monastery in this place? We will start walking from the village of Acharkut and first arrive at the Arakelots Monastery, built in the 13-14th centuries. The entire road passes through the forest. When you reach the Dekhdznut Monastery, be careful not to pass by it. It is so harmonious with nature that if you are a little inattentive, you will not notice it. This group of monuments occupies a prominent place in the history of Armenian art due to the splendor of its external decoration and ornaments. It dates back to the 10th-17th centuries.
