February 15, 2025This route is quite easy and beautiful. The trail passes through the forest, starting with the 12th century Goshavank monastery in the village of Gosh. Lake Gosh, nestled in the lush forests of the Tavush region, is a serene alpine lake named after the Mkhitar Gosh. Located within Dilijan National Park, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by dense woodlands and picturesque hiking trails. The lake is accessible via a scenic hike from Gosh village, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. Visitors can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, admire the reflections of the trees in the crystal-clear water.
