This route is quite easy and beautiful. Most of the trail passes through the forest, starting with the 12th century Goshavank monastery in the village of Gosh. On the way, before reaching lake Parz, be sure to pay attention to the khachkars, which are an Armenian cultural heritage. It is worth considering that Parz Lich is the most popular place among both tourists and locals, and if you are looking for a quiet place, then this is not the best option. There is a recreation area around lake Parz where you can relax, ride on open-air cable cars, paddle and rent boats. This route can also be taken in the opposite direction, from lake Parz to Goshavank.
