You can start walking along this trail either from the Jukhtak monastery or from Matosavank, since the trail is circular. Both monasteries are located in a place surrounded by dense forests. Jukhtak Monastery is a building from the 11th-12th centuries. The monastery includes two churches, hence the name. Matosavank was built in the 13th century. Consists of St. Astvatsatsin Church, narthex and library. It fascinates with its mystery. Moss-covered stones are like silent witnesses of the past, transporting you to another reality, and khachkars merging with nature simply amaze the imagination.
