Mount Spitakasar is the second highest peak of the Geghama Mountains, height 2555 meters. The slopes and summit are rich in transparent and gray obsidian. Sometimes it may feel like you are in a desert. You can climb Spitakasar in different ways: drive up in an SUV from the villages of Geghard or Sarukhan and start ascent from the foot, but we offer the following option: travel to Lake Nazeli in an SUV, spend the night in a tent, enjoying the silence and beauty of the area, the next day climb Spitakasar , return to the lake, gathering camp and farewell to the Geghama Mountains.
