Aragats has a gigantic crater 400 m deep and 3 km in diameter, the remains of its eroded walls form the four peaks of the mountain. The crater is open on the southeast side. The peaks are located in a semicircle. The highest is the northern peak (4090.1 meters). The western peak has a height of 3995.3 m, the eastern peak - 3908.2 m, the southern peak - 3887.8 m. If you want to climb any peak of Aragats, but think that only the South peak is not enough, we suggest you climb the South and Western peak. We will start our climb from Lake Kari, which is at an altitude of 3200m, and end here. You can climb the southern peak using the classic route or along Caracathar. We will decide together which way to climb. After the South Peak we will descend to the South-West Col and from here we will begin our ascent to the West Peak.
