TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In the mountains and in nature in general, the weather often changes: thunder, rain, snow, strong wind, low and high temperatures. Humans are affected by altitude, temperature changes, UV rays from the sun, and other factors. During high mountain ascents, signs of "Altitude sickness" may appear, which is caused by a lack of oxygen. In hard-to-pass areas, one should be careful and not go on an adventure. So, it is necessary to prepare properly, follow the safety rules, which are described below:

Rules of conduct for tourists and hikers.

1. move in a group, maintaining discipline, do not separate from the group without warning,
2. observe a regime of walking and rest,
3. do not take shortcuts to the detriment of safety,
4. do not make crossings in conditions of poor visibility (storm, fog) or in the dark,
5. Follow the instructions when negotiating dangerous areas, fast-flowing rivers, rocks and other natural obstacles.
6. inform the guide in case of fatigue or deterioration of health,
7. avoid standing on steep slopes and overhanging rocks;
8. do not swim in rivers and lakes, do not go under waterfalls without discussing with a guide (to be aware of possible risks),
9. Refrain from any actions that may harm your safety or the safety of others.

How to prepare:
Before the hike, participants must have with them:
• Backpack (required)
• Hiking poles
• Water (minimum 1.5 liters)
• Food
• First aid kit
• Sunglasses
• Hat (sun protection and winter protection depending on the season).
• Warm clothes (depending on the season)
• Flashlight
• Raincoat (required)
• Windproof jacket
• Hiking trousers

Clothing should be sportswear that does not restrict movement. Boots with thick soles (designed for mountaineering/hiking). Also bring a spare pair of shoes and socks to change into in case you get wet.

Reasons and consequences for stopping a ascent or hike:

Ascent or hiking may be discontinued.
- Due to the risk of not completing the route on time due to insufficient physical preparation,
- Due to the deterioration of health or injury of one of the group members,
- In case of severe weather conditions, the continuation of which may be dangerous to human life and/or health.

The decision to stop climbing or hiking is made by the guide, which does not create any responsibility or additional obligations for the guide.

CONFIRMATION:

I certify that I have properly read the description and safety rules for climbing or trekking, am aware of the various possible risks, including non-life-threatening injuries and/or bites, and have received concise answers to any questions I may have.

I clearly understand the rules presented to me and the importance of complying with them, and I also understand that ignoring the rules can lead to various injuries, fractures and accidents while crossing the route.

I also confirm that there are no medical contraindications for my participation in hiking and mountaineering. I evaluate the state of my health (congenital, acquired, chronic, acute diseases and/or disorders, as well as any deviations from the norm) independently and/or based on a consultation with a doctor and decide for myself whether it is worth accepting the proposed routes, taking into account my state of health.

I am duly informed that I undertake to unconditionally comply with the written and oral instructions of the organizer, which are binding on all participants.

I have been duly informed that the organizer/leader of the expedition does not bear any responsibility for my health and/or deterioration of health that will occur as a result of non-compliance with the rules and instructions.

I have been duly informed that the organizer and staff are not responsible for any possible loss, damage and/or total destruction of my personal property during the expeditions.

By signing this informed consent, I confirm that I, my relatives and/or other authorized persons will not have any claims against the organizer and expedition personnel in the event of any injuries and/or fatal accidents during the expeditions.

I have been duly informed of the possibility of force majeure and in the event of failure to arrive at the travel destination, change of plan and other unforeseen circumstances, I, my relatives and/or authorized persons will not demand any financial and/or other compensation from the organizer and personnel.
